To Pack or Not to Pack that is the Question

I have one week before I head off on my next holiday adventure. A trip through the Canadian rockies, camp style.

I have never been on a long haul flight before or had to deal with jetlag so I expect that to be horrible beyond imagination. I have also never been to the North American Continent, or had a camping holiday where I couldn’t shove everything in a vehicle, so packing has been a confusing beyond measure. It doesn’t help that I am travelling to a place in Summer that has highs of 28 degrees one day and lows of 0 degrees another.

I have been playing will I, won’t I for months trying to decide whether to pack jumpers and thermals, or pack shirts and shorts. I have limited room as I am carrying my own sleeping bag and camp mat, as well as a pillow. In the end I still have no idea but I have a mix of clothes with the idea to layer if it gets cold. It would have been easier if I was planning to be inside buildings at night but all thats between me and the elements is a tent wall.

This 13 day trip will be something else, the question is whether I can survive the weather and if my body survives a camping holiday.
